Il concertista Matteo Bevilacqua si esibirà al pianoforte, regalando agli spettatori la sua arte. Nel frattempo, un elettroencefalogramma (EEG) registrerà in tempo reale l’attività elettrica del suo cervello, e la tradurrà in arte visiva, svelando ciò che accade “nella mente del musicista”, forse gli stessi processi cognitivi dell’uomo antico mentre creavano e suonavano i primi strumenti musicali? Accompagnati dai suoni di flauti paleolitici e dai talk del fisico paleoantropologo Claudio Tuniz e dell’astrofisico Lorenzo Pizzuti, esploreremo le profonde radici dell’espressione artistica umana, e cercheremo di comprendere come l’arte abbia influenzato la nostra evoluzione culturale. This is the question that will accompany the performance MEZZOCIELO 3.0. Concert pianist Matteo Bevilacqua will perform on the piano, giving the audience his art. Meanwhile, an electroencephalogram (EEG) will record the electrical activity of his brain in real time, and translate it into visual art, revealing what is happening “in the musician’s mind,” perhaps the same cognitive processes of ancient man as they created and played the first musical instruments? Accompanied by the sounds of Paleolithic flutes and talks by paleoanthropologist physicist Claudio Tuniz and astrophysicist Lorenzo Pizzuti, we will explore the deep roots of human artistic expression, and seek to understand how art has influenced our cultural evolution.
